In my practice I focus on creating deep insight and long-lasting change. My method - psychodynamic therapy - typically lasts between 6 months to 2 years. It is a complex, time-proven treatment method that makes profound, enduring change in your life. Studies show that psychodynamic therapy is not only as effective as other therapies, but that unlike other therapies, you continue to improve, even years after therapy ends.
Based on your needs, therapy can be short-term (3-6 months) or longer-term. Treatment explores relationships, formative life experiences, dreams, and your future trajectory. I also use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate recovery from trauma and OCD. I also work with persons who are undergoing or recently had ketamine therapy.
