Sometimes life can be unpredictable. We all find ourselves at times feeling a little lost, or like we need someone to walk with us to help make sense of what’s going on. I work with all clients age 16 and up in individual therapy, addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, adjustment issues, self esteem issues, and life transitions. I also work specifically with coping strategies for individuals with other mental health issues such as ADHD and OCD, among others, both as part of therapy as a whole, or in specific shorter treatment such as ADHD coaching, depending on the need.
My approach to therapy is heavily influenced by a trust in my client's ability to heal themselves once they are equipped with knowledge and self awareness of their experiences. I emphasize psycho-education and autonomy to help my client's regain and maintain control over their lives. My role is to guide my clients to helpful decisions and coping strategies.
