I work with people of different backgrounds and cultures who desire a greater understanding of how to live richer, deeper lives while focusing on building more meaningful relationships with others. I help clients recognize how hidden thoughts and feelings can sometimes work in harmful ways, leading to dysfunctional outcomes. I encourage people to build confidence in their ability to be the authors of their own lives, and grow in their ability to understand past decisions while learning to change their life direction going forward.
My approach involves allowing clients to share their life challenges and struggles in a non-judgemental environment while uncovering insight into the nature of their experiences. I have a unique background working with difficult relational issues, divorce, depression and anxiety, blended families, dealing with disability challenges, and complex trauma.
I believe my clients have the capacity to imagine and create the satisfying, emotionally gratifying lives they desire. I work collaboratively with them to accomplish those goals.
