I do short term psychotherapy which aims to change damaging and unhealthy behaviors that affect relationships with the self and others. It is possible to become aware of the unresolved conflicts that condition our behavior, and figure out how to stop these behaviors, and make more healthy and satisfying choices.

Disturbances of the inner self can interfere with joy and satisfaction in living. Sometimes experiences of frustration, anger, sorrow and loss, disappointment are repetitious and even predictable. These patterns can seriously interfere with feeling whole, complete, and intimate with other people.

I can provide counseling for individuals and couples to clarify problems in communication, creating safety for risk taking, and decision-making. Sometimes one or both of the partners undertake individual therapy. I will work with clients in supportive psychotherapy to resolve specific problems or work related concerns, make decisions, or clarify life events.
