A lot of our psychological pain is rooted in past traumatic experiences. When we experience trauma, memories of these events remain with us as unprocessed memories, affecting our moods, behaviors, sense of self, and our body. As a Holistic Psychotherapist specializing in EMDR, I empower my clients to create impactful change in their lives by helping them gain insight into themselves/others and overcome their limiting beliefs through processing these difficult memories. Healing from trauma can be hard work but I am with my clients every step of the way and provide them the skills and resources that they need.
In addition to EMDR, I also help clients overcome issues related to anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and relationship conflict utilizing Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (mbCBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and attachment informed Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT). I have experience working with a highly diverse client base.
