I offer a needs-based approach to counseling and help you develop healthy effective strategies for getting your needs met and can teach you how to express your feelings and needs in a nonviolent way. I am a seasoned counselor and an EMDR Certified Therapist who works with trauma and abuse survivors.
I have been counseling people in crisis and others trying to manage major mental health conditions since 1986. I help with loss of functioning, poor self image, trauma and strained relationships. I work with couples helping them learn to better communicate, admit past wrongs and apologize, and learn how to forgive. I can help with religious/spiritual issues.
Whether your problem is emotional, psychological, relational or spiritual, I will provide you with a thorough mental health assessment and explain all the treatment options.
