About
I currently see adolescents, adults, parents, and couples in private practice specializing in psychotherapy. I work from a contemporary psychodynamic/attachment based model. I seek to create an emphathic environment to help clients feel understood, while also challenging them to go to greater depths by confronting self-defeating or growth inhibiting patterns of relating to self and others.
In addition to private practice, I am on the Board of Directors and the Leadership Team at the non-profit Center for Reflective Communities. In this role, I have trained hundreds of therapists in a mentalization-based approach to psychotherapy, and have conducted trainings and presentations both nationally and internationally.
I am currently a Co-Investigator on a major federally funded grant from NICHD awarded to do an outcome study of my early intervention model working with parents of young children.
