I love being a therapist because it allows me to form meaningful connections with people and to accompany them through complex, deeply personal chapters of their lives. I bring over 15 years of experience to my work and specialize in helping those who’ve experienced trauma and loss: whether the death of someone important, or the many subtler losses that still bring us so much suffering—the loss of a hoped-for future, the loss of our confidence in ourselves, the loss of trust, the loss of hope. In trauma and grief work, I focus on safety, pacing, and honoring losses that are often overlooked or minimized.
I approach substance use (which is so often tied up with trauma and grief) through a harm reduction lens, collaborating with clients to define goals that feel both meaningful and realistic. Whether moderation, abstinence, safer use, or simply understanding your relationship with substances more clearly, we will define success together.
My therapeutic style is warm, engaged, and thoughtful. Within the boundaries of the therapeutic relationship, I care deeply about the people I work with and remain genuinely invested in their growth over time. Experience has taught me to be patient, steady, and a bit wiser about how healing actually unfolds.
