I've been a therapist for many years and have seen people with a variety of emotional issues and mental health disorders. I remember seeing clients with OCD and feeling powerless because the interventions I was using weren't helping much. When I discovered there was a better way to treat OCD, I was excited about learning the strategies and being able to help people improve their lives. At NOCD, my team and I provide effective specialized treatment for OCD and related conditions, such as BFRBs (including skin-picking, nail-biting, and hair-pulling). Our understanding of these conditions enables us to diagnose and treat them properly.
We are trained in evidence-based treatments, including Exposure Response and Prevention (ERP) therapy—the gold standard treatment for OCD—and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). When you start with NOCD, you'll work with me or be paired with a therapist in our network, based on your preferences.
We’ll work to get to know you and create a treatment plan to help you effectively address your challenges and achieve your goals.
