My therapeutic style emphasizes the importance of accepting each of my clients unique issues and needs. I strive to create a warm, safe, and collaborative atmosphere where my clients can share their emotions. I think we all have the capacity to learn and grow at all stages of life, and therapy can be a helpful growth tool. I also recognize the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, and through this relationship, we work to help develop effective coping skills.
For over 20 years, I have treated people of varying ethnicities, genders, races, and religions. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. My practice uses a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach that takes into consideration each person's strengths and wisdom. I am also trained in several additional approaches. We will find what works best for you.
I have worked with clients who are struggling with a wide range of issues. However, my practice specializes in treating clients with Anxiety, Depression/Mood Disorders, Trauma, and addiction issues. A good portion of my work has been devoted to treating young adults managing anxiety and depression.
