My primary focus is couple therapy. I am a trained Certified EFT Therapist. EFT stands for Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and is far and away the best treatment for couples. I have successfully treated couples who struggled with communication issues, infidelity, childhood trauma, attachment concerns, and emotional disconnect. As an EFT therapist I have worked with many couples in which one of the partners has ADHD. I also treat trauma using EMDR therapy with individuals and in the couple setting.
I also specialize in diagnosing and treating children and adults with ADHD. Once I help the client manage their ADHD I address any co-occurring anxiety or depression. Together we unlock hidden self-beliefs that ADHD individuals develop over time and help them discover their gifts, thereby freeing them to start fresh with a new outlook on life and themselves.
I also have extensive training on a wide variety of modalities besides EFT including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, CBT, Structural Family Therapy, General Systems theory, and Psychodynamic Theory. This allows me to generate an integrated treatment plan treating all facets of my client's life. I also perform psycho/social/educational assessments.
