I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee, and I have been practicing therapy for the past 8 years. My counseling style is non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. I use a holistic approach to help clients identify their strengths and manage a balance of self-care, mindfulness, and well-being. I utilize several evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. With a client-centered approach, the focus is on identifying and implementing techniques to help clients manage their needs and achieve their goals.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences at the University of Memphis in 2009. I then went on to complete my Master of Social Work at the University of Memphis in 2015. I have worked in community, residential, and outpatient settings, and have experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD.
I am hopeful to help those trying to manage mental health disorders, whether mild, moderate, or severe.
