But sometimes talking just doesn't seem to make our lives different. When we go through something challenging, upsetting, or overwhelming, our bodies are involved in the response. This means to resolve the issue, our bodies need to be involved in addressing the solution.
I believe that psychotherapy is successful when our lives change. I bring a Solution-Focused approach to my work with people. We collaborate on identifying the solutions, and developing the plan. In cases where talking isn't enough, a body-based (Somatic Experiencing) or a meridan based (EFT) approach help to address issues that aren't helped by talking.
