If you're reading this I want to encourage you to keep the momentum! Reaching out to a therapist is one of the most difficult and hopeful things you can do and it’s worth it! I work with anxiety, depression, addictions and relationship issues. I've been a psychologist for over 35 years and I still love the work. My approach incorporates a spiritual orientation; this is due to working with people who are in recovery, and my own journey. Spiritual based psychotherapy is not about religion, but about accessing the Power that surrounds us, the power of Love. I am an active, engaging therapist with a sense of humor, it’s good to laugh.
Psychotherapy works, people get better. That’s why I keep doing it. I work from orientations including Family Systems, Jungian theory, CBT, and mindfulness. It's my job to take the momentum you bring to the first session and provide a you a healing path and vision. Asking for help is an incredibly brave and courageous step. Take the step, you can do this.
You are frustrated with emotions and issues that you have not been able to solve on your own. Understand, it is not “weak” to seek help, it feels vulnerable, yes, but vulnerability takes guts. I’ve worked with very successful men and women through the years and they’ve all needed help at times. We ALL need help at times, it is the human condition

Spiritual Group Psychotherapy
Spiritual based group psychotherapy is group therapy with a spiritual grounding. That means that the people who chose to be group members have a belief in a Power greater than themselves that can help them in their process. This group is for people who have done some work, either therapy, spiritual direction, or 12-step work. Myself and Karen Holland, LPC, will be starting a weekly coed group in the next few months (April-May 2022). Please contact myself or Karen if you are interested, limited availability
