I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and have earned a M.S.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. After over 25 years as a professional in the film/television and music industries, I've embarked on a career in counseling with energy and passion to assist individuals with a variety of mental health and emotional challenges. As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, my approach is based on a foundation of person-centered and humanistic values. I believe that providing a safe, confidential, empathic and nonjudgmental environment is paramount to successful therapy.
My theoretical orientation is integrated and includes strategies from Narrative, CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, Reality & Solution Focused theories based on each client's needs.
