John A Knoerzer
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
John A Knoerzer is not currently accepting new clients.
When we don't get along with the people in our daily lives, a person's whole life can suffer. I specialize working with people struggling with relationships, whether romantic, familial or professional. I've learned the client should always be the focus and I am here to service your needs. During our first session, we will identify your most pressing issues and set goals to address them. My approach focuses on quick improvement that can turn into lasting change. I'm knowledgeable in many modalities and able to use whatever approach is needed to help you solve your problems.
I will challenge you, but I will always listen if you feel a certain approach is not working - giving feedback is key in therapy. Therapy is best when the counselor and client can talk as equals but with different roles to play, rather than an expert teaching a student.
I handle all aspects of my private practice including insurance and scheduling. This structure allows me to understand all aspects of the therapy process so I can help you understand them without referring you to office managers or billing departments. Together, we can resolve any difficulties you might have.
