At its core, counseling is a collaborative relationship: you bring your concerns and a willingness to actively participate in your own wellness and I bring professional training and experience as well a number of techniques and interventions that can help you meet your goals. As we work together you will see an improvement in your mood, relationships, and ability to handle all facets of life in a healthy, helpful way.
I am a teacher and coordinator by nature and always offer my clients a caring place to process and categorize the sometimes overwhelming things of life. We will work from your strengths to determine how you can effectively regulate your emotions, improve your relationships, and maintain a healthy perspective as you work toward your goals.
On a personal note, I have been married for over 25 years and have two children. I believe all human beings have intrinsic value and my favorite part of counseling is engaging with diverse clients from all walks of life. More than anything else, the Gospel of Jesus Christ informs my personal worldview and sense of security, peace, hope and love.
