In this journey we call life, we seem to accumulate experiences that make us who we are. From the experiences we develop a story that we tell ourselves. Sometimes telling that story to someone else just doesn't sound or feel right because it can be scary or feel weird. It can be useful to have an editor to help find comfort with the words. Therapy is an opportunity to be truly heard and receive objective, strengths-based, input on how the story sounds outside of your own head. It can provide opportunities to make edits until you feel just right telling your story safely with comfort and confidence.
I have spent years in the mental health field feeling honored to assist people in editing their stories. I provide open-minded, strengths-based, trauma-informed listening as you tell your story, perhaps for the first time. Together we can embark on the dynamic process of writing and/or re-writing until the story comes from a place of health and wellness.
If you've never taken the opportunity to share your story - this is a great place to start. Together, we can confront fear and pain and find a voice that is brave enough to tell the story from a place of courage, confidence, and comfort. Please TEXT 315-303-8035 or email for service inquiries.
