About
I have been a marriage and family therapist for 20 years. I have worked with marriage and family issues as well as mental health issues throughout that time. I have been in private practice for over 10 years and thoroughly enjoy the work that I do and the clients that I work with.
I work well with clients from all walks of life and experiences. I enjoy helping couples work through adjustment in marriage, divorce, or blended families. I am also very comfortable working with victims of trauma and abuse, as well as with personality disorders and other mental illnesses.
I grew up in Ohio, went to college in Utah, and received my master's degree in Philadelphia. I have worked with people in crisis and have helped individuals and groups work through critical incidents and emergency situations, so I don't get nervous when people talk about suicidal thoughts or feelings.
