I work with clients feel their positive and negative emotions deeply. I help clients learn to relate to themselves and people in their lives in a healthier, more wholesome way. I work by listening closely and pushing clients know what's going on internally. Ideally clients are open to this collaboration to explore emotions and seek new ways of being.
I am the director of a small clinic called Firelight Psychotherapy. I see clients and I also refer to two other therapists whom I supervise. Please visit my webpage or reach out to learn more.
I work in a small setting so that I can develop trusting, potentially long-term relationships with clients, unhindered by a large clinic. I primarily see adults. I am the past president of the Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. I have been training in a therapy model called AEDP as well as ISTDP. I am a level 3 AEDP therapist.
