I believe that you make sense! You will find that we slow down and listen deeply to where you are at and what dynamics are creating the most pain in your life right now. We collaborate on deciding what to focus on in sessions. Then we break down all the contributing dynamics and find new ways together of finding new, more effective ways forward. While you may be suffering, you are still an expert on your own experience and carry lots of wisdom that is ultimately your best guide. My role is to help find your way back to your own best self, led by your wisest self.
I am a certified Internal Family Systems Therapist and IFS Approved Clinical Consultant. This is "Parts Work" Therapy. You do not have to know anything about it. It is a powerful evidence based treatment that can help shift how you experience yourself and the world even beyond the therapy sessions.
Many people come to therapy after years of deliberating. Many have had bad experiences of therapy that makes it even harder to try again.
