I have worked in the field of addiction for the past 19 years. I do this because I have a passion for treating those who suffer from the disease of addiction. This includes not only the person who is using but their family and friends who are affected by this disease as well. I also work with patients who suffer from both substance abuse and mental health issues. If we do not treat both diseases, you will not recover fully.
I am a Certified Addiction Professional and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in FL. I received my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2011 from Springfield College in Tampa. I have worked for several addiction and mental health treatment facilities in both NY and FL.
In addition to working for established agencies, I have worked with my wife in our own treatment agency for the past fourteen years.
