Peace Family! I'm Dr. Joe; a Credible Clinician (formerly incarcerated licensed clinical social worker) from East New York, Brooklyn. I have over a decade working with people from all walks of life, who have experienced all types of trauma. I take an Integrative approach to therapy which combines TF-CBT, MI, Narrative Therapy, and Goal Focused Therapy (SFBT).

My self-defined style of therapy is S.A.T., which means I practice with Sincerity (I truly care about my clients), Authenticity (I'm a real person and professional), and Transparency (I practice self-disclosure).

My goal in therapy is to help you achieve comfort, healing, and peace from the traumas of your life, and help you regain control of your life. But only you can determine what your therapeutic goals are, and what that looks like for you. In my practice I have a saying, "You're the expert of your life; I'm just the tour guide!"
