Hello, my name is Joe Sasson. I am a licensed clinical social worker, license 75121. I enjoy working with diverse populations, ages spanning from 8 to 108 years old. My approach to helping you is to listen to you attentively and then we, both together, figure out what your goals for therapy are. I believe in your strength and inner wisdom to help us guide the healing process. Strengthening you is the goal. I use EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), EFT (emotional freedom technique), TFT (thought field therapy), AIT (advanced integrative therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and parts work.
I have experience working with clients of all ages. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults needing to strengthen their self esteem, challenged with trauma and symptoms of PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), anxiety, and depression.
I understand that in today's society work can be a stressors in people's lives and I enjoy helping those needing some skills to cope with this.I create an emotionally safe, relaxed, non-judgmental environment where you can feel trust and experience the care you deserve.
