Announcement icon I am still accepting new clients and offering phone/video sessions for persons who are social distancing or quarantined due to Coronavirus.
As a licensed MFT, a Sexual Addiction Treatment Provider (SATP), and a CSAT-Candidate, I am absolutely passionate about helping those impacted by sexual integrity issues. I work with both addicts and their partner using individual, couple, and group therapy modalities. I am quite aware of relational trauma that partners of sex, porn, and relationship addicts experience, and I compassionately work to guide addicts (and partners) through isolating and shame-filled experiences. My role is to help reduce this shame and systematically get to the root of the addictive and compulsive behaviors that have led to intimacy disorder issues.
As a certified Sex Addiction Treatment Provider (SATP), I hold extensive expertise in treating those affected by compulsive sexual behavior having gone through my own recovery journey from sexual addiction. I am trained in the 30-Task Recovery model (group therapy), PACT Couples therapy model, and Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) for individuals.
I also have a unique background having worked in the rail transportation industry for 20+ years. This allows for relate-ability in trauma witnessed and experienced by first responders in the aftermath of train/auto accidents and incidents. Let me help you process these traumatic episodes utilizing TRM and Alpha-Stim Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation.

Joe Saavedra's Groups

Men's 15-week Sexual Integrity Group

Research suggests that those who struggle with sexual integrity issues have greater treatment outcomes when group therapy is integrated as an adjunct to individual therapy and 12-step work. Group work is a crucial element to recovery that allows for deep relational connection between group members. Addicts have often times been traumatized during childhood years and group interventions provide a safe and supportive environment to process trauma. This group will be limited to 8 participants (men only) and will be first come first serve. Those interested in learning more about this group can simply call or email me for details.
