I am a psychologist practicing near Columbus Circle. I work with a range of adults, including college and graduate students, working professionals, and individuals with chronic health issues. Many of the individuals I work with are seeking greater self-understanding; a more integrated sense of identity; or greater means of coping with traumatic events, loss, or difficult life stressors.
I believe in long-term change and work with individuals to develop greater capacities to tolerate negative emotions and work through difficult life experiences. Rather than seeking quick fixes, I work with individuals to better understand underlying dynamics that contribute to repetitive behaviors, disappointments, or ongoing suffering.
I received my master's from U. Penn and my doctorate from Fordham University. In addition to clinical practice, I maintain an active role in teaching and research. I am an adjunct faculty member in Fordham's Clinical Psychology program and have published on a range of professional issues.
