My name is Joe Fox, & I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked with various populations & have a diverse background of experience, including but not limited to, clients dealing with depression, anxiety, post-trauma symptoms, crisis, grief & loss, & relationship problems. I also provide therapy for those who are seeking more in their lives, whether it be finding greater fulfillment at home or work & with family & friends, all the way to having a better sense of purpose & meaning.
I provide therapy from a holistic view, & I feel it is important to be eclectic in practice. It is also collaborative, & as we mold & shape how best to work together, I value any & all input as to how you the client feels about our sessions. I utilize various approaches such as Person-Centered, Gestalt, & Existential Therapies; DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, & IFS.
The correlation of finding a better sense of self to mitigate or even extinguish adverse symptoms is the heart of much of my practice - where helping clients navigate life’s difficulties by finding the answers & strength within is one of my great honors as a counselor to help facilitate, & I look forward to the opportunity to take this journey with you.
