Managing life's battles can be overwhelming and inherently all-consuming. I am direct, solution focused and client centered when it comes to working with people who are seeking treatment related to substance use/addiction disorders, family/relational conflict, spiritual questioning centered around trauma, grief or purposeful living, life transitions, case management, marriage and couples counseling as well as working with teens, emerging and aging adults. Our sessions can range from helping manage fear that may cause immobility or clouding our brightest path to addressing coping skills to better navigate relapse, improving communication or building insight to behavior and purpose.
My modalities vary depending on the need of the client. In my practice, I focus on a holistic lifestyle to attain mental clarity, overall wellness and increasing desired outcomes by implementing my 'MEDS' approach; Mindfulness, Exercise, Diet and Sleep. We will do this by assessing treatment objectives and tracking goals.
After 15 years in the field, my resources and approach are designed to specifically address your needs as you define them. Utilizing a variety of didactic and psychotherapeutic modalities throughout our sessions and via assigned homework, we can gain insight to address your cognition, behavior and emotions to enhance awareness.
