About
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a general practice for adults. I believe that psychotherapy is an opportunity to increase insight about yourself and develop strategies for improving your life. My approach to therapy reflects my belief that change happens in the context of acceptance, but without clear strategies the problems that bring a person into therapy will persist. I believe that examining patterns in relationships and how we behave when we are anxious are important parts of the process of making life changes.
The issues that bring clients into therapy with me include anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, addictive behaviors, sexuality and gender identity concerns, and relationship issues. I believe our mental health is closely linked to our physical health.
