I am a skilled and practiced therapist with over 30 years of clinical experience. I love to work with older teens, adults and couples. I am a certified EMDR therapist; which is an excellent therapy for the treatment of PTSD, trauma and letting go of the past. I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist, and use this approach for a variety of problematic behaviors, such as: anxiety, habit disorders, or to increase confidence and self esteem. I am also trained in ERP (exposure response prevention) which is the "gold standard" for anxiety disorders and OCD and I am well versed in the Enneagram as a personality analysis and tool.
It is important to find a therapist you connect with, this relationship is pivotal to creating a productive and meaningful therapeutic experience. I have been told I am warm, empathic and non judgemental. I will listen and give you honest feedback. We proceed at your pace, as you are ready and willing to tackle the issues that matter most to you .
I am very interested in helping you heal old patterns of behavior that just don't work anymore. And the patterns that do work...augmenting and encouraging those. Therapy shouldn't take forever, it can be enjoyable, insightful and extremely productive. Nothing really changes until you do!
