For most of my clients, depression or anxiety is impacting life in a negative way. Sometimes grief, a traumatic experience, or a relationship conflict causes a disruption, and compels one to seek support and healing. Often one is struggling and has not yet been able to understand why—something just feels wrong inside and others do not see or understand it.
Drawing on training in Internal Family Systems, trauma therapies such as EMDR and polyvagal theory, developmental psychology, and griefwork, I focus on building a genuine relationship, supporting an inquiry that allows you to settle into who you really are. Our work honors what is sensed and felt in the body, and clears pathways for insight.
As each person needs something slightly different, we figure out together which practices and what timing fit given the whole of your life. The goal is to understand, reassure, and relax the protective layers so that what is authentic may come into being.
