Sometimes folks feel really nervous or awkward when reaching out to start therapy. They don't know what to say or how to start. If that sounds like you, don't worry you're not alone. I'm here to make that first contact as painless as possible. Engaging folks that are hesitant or uncertain about the therapeutic process is my forte. Therapy occurs at your pace with you choosing how much or little you want to share. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to grow and learn about yourself and gain tools to help along your way. I believe that therapy is a partnership built on trust, a bit of humor, and lots of metaphors.
Over the past decade I've supported individuals from many walks of life who have struggled with difficult to treat issues like addiction, trauma, life transitions. I'm licensed to treat both mental health and substance use disorders. Not everyone that I see has issues with substances, but my expertise helps folks change challenging behaviors of all sorts.
I am truly passionate about therapy and supporting people as they grow, and would be honored to support you in navigating your journey. If you have questions, or want to connect by phone to see if we are a fit, please shoot me an email or give me a call!
