Hi I am Jodee Thelen and I have a LMHC in WA. I am Humanistic and Solution-Focused-Brief-Therapy with an Existential/Systems approach to doing this relational work with you. I also include Mind/Body/Spirit- psyche is soul so we include this mysterious part of you in this work to explore your own intuition and forward-thinking ways of being authentic and enough- we do this using heart-centered-awareness of awareness. I like them to be in a safe space and be willing to notice sensations from their bodies when talking about what they think needs to change. I continue to explore an integration process with clients if they notice something in a non-verbal realm that they are doing while in session.
A conversation about past experiences with therapy and what has worked and what hasn't worked. What they are concerned with today and what and how they might think I can help. We discuss a treatment plan regarding a way to see if in 6 to 8 weeks- they have noticed any change. I ask if that is something they would be interested in.
