If you are someone who is going through a life transition (divorce, empty nester, career change, mid-life crisis), is struggling with daily stressors from everyday annoyances to more complex issues (financial, alcohol and drug use/abuse, work-life balance), and/or using negative coping mechanisms to try to manage or avoid your stress, I might be a good fit to help you. As a generalist social worker, I help primarily adults who are looking for realistic approaches to improve the quality of their lives with short-term solution focused tasks using SMART goals, positive coping skills, building a healthy routine with a support system.
As someone with lived experience with depression and anxiety, I can relate to how both of these can negatively impact someone’s life. There is hope, and techniques, to live a healthy, productive and meaningful life with a routine and purpose. My experience in nature-based mindfulness, meditation and movement, can help bring the body and mind into alignment.
I am currently only accepting clients through Headway, an online telehealth platform that accepts many insurances. In the near future, I will be accepting clients for in-person clinical therapy and life coaching sessions (with a focus on nature-based mindfulness and task-oriented actions) in the Miami area only.
