I always say, "Take care of your mind, and the rest will follow". That's exactly what you are doing here today, taking the first step to take CARE of your mind. I specialize in working with individuals with trauma, anxiety, addictions, depression, and general life stuff, because life can be hard. I would love to walk alongside and guide you as you begin this journey of renewal and restoration. I can be described as an "eclectic" therapist who is client-centered. That means I use a variety of treatment approaches to meet my clients right where they are, in this moment.
My approach is simple, helping my clients feel better. I tell my clients in their first session, "This one hour a week is all about YOU". I understand and connect with complex issues that are a result of trauma, addictions, and poor beliefs about ourselves that we come by honestly.
I communicate from a place of love, striving to create a therapeutic experience that is supportive and non-judgmental. I learn to listen to not only what my clients are verbally saying, but what they say without words and help bring that forward.
