I believe clients can experience tangible hope, healing and wholeness when their relationship with self and with others are healthy. My primary goal is to create a trauma-informed space for clients to safely and authentically explore their relationships within their internal, familial, marital and/or societal/environmental systems. I utilize the techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in building meaningful and sustaining relationships.
I earned a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. My seminary education provided the opportunity for me to explore the relationship between psychological science and spirituality, and the value of psychological research alongside faith practices. Science and faith are not in conflict with one another; they complement one another.
