I approach therapy from a trauma perspective because regardless if you’re experiencing depression, poor self esteem, relationship problems, divorce, abuse, anxiety/panic, addiction, self-harm, or simply procrastination — there’s likely something from your past that’s playing havoc with your life today. Using trauma-specific therapies, I help clients explore internal forces that keep adverse symptoms in their forefront. Everyone has strengths, so we build on these. Then, therapies like EMDR help us pinpoint the source of your outdated life responses so you can learn to trust a more adaptive part of you— one who knows what’s best and how to get there.
I am certified in EMDR; my approach is attachment focused, informed by mindfulness, somatic, Jungian, IFS, Sand-tray, DBT, Spiritual, and yoga therapies.
