Joanne M Wholey, MA, LPC, NCC, CIFST, Licensed Professional Counselor in Bloomfield
Searching for a therapist can be a little overwhelming. Simply put, I will provide a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings. You will be treated with dignity and respect, and our therapeutic relationship will be professional and ethical. I have over 15 years of experience treating individuals who experience depression, anxiety, grief and loss including the loss of a beloved pet, for which I have specialized training in.
I am a Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist. IFS is the model of therapy I practice to help individuals explore aspects of themselves that continue to get stuck in unhealthy behavior patterns, leading to understanding, transformation, and clarity.
A unique aspect of my practice includes Equine Assisted Experiential Learning/Therapy. This is an experiential form of therapy that involves partnering with horses on the ground. No riding is involved and no previous experience with horses is necessary.
