Therapy is a process of self discovery. Often, I have found that clients who present for therapy may identify experiences of depression or anxiety that are secondary to trauma exposure in their childhood or recent history. Moreover, clients often have challenges in their relationships with others which stem from their relationship with self, and from early childhood experiences in their family of origin. These challenges can manifest in many ways.
I have a background in biological sciences and health psychology, which allows me to implement an integrated and holistic approach to treatment. I utilize cognitive-behavioral and client-centered techniques to help clients achieve their individualized goals. My specialties include working with women, adolescents, and couples.
I will create a warm and nonjudgmental space to help you successfully navigate through life’s stressors and overcome challenges to lead a healthier life.
