I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and have been in the field for 15 years. My background includes working in many different facets of the field including the legal system, addiction treatment, residential treatment for teenagers, and now private practice. I am passionate about the field and enjoy passing my knowledge and experience on to new therapists as a Supervisor.
Deciding to seek help for mental health issues is a huge step, and often a difficult one. I believe that a good fit is essential to maintaining a trusting therapeutic relationship that is necessary for your mental health journey. My main areas of specialty include working with teenagers, ADHD, anxiety, LGBTQ+, mood disorders, and substance abuse.
I believe that counseling is beneficial to everyone, but having a willingness to get outside of your comfort zone is essential to growth. I am a very person centered therapist and believe in treating each client with unconditional positive regard.
