Restoring emotional regulation, healing negative thought patterns, and improving healthy boundaries are often a focus of treatment. I practice integrative talk therapy and somatic-based psychotherapy with advanced training as a cognitive behavioral therapist and somatic experiencing practitioner. Through best practice tools such as top-down and bottom-up treatment, we work together to rediscover a cohesive sense of Self guided by your own inner resources and strengths.
I believe in each person's unique capacity for healing, resiliency, and change. I work with many artists, writers, and creatives looking for support in their creative path. In addition to psychotherapy, I am a graduate professor and a visual artist. This vocation is a true calling for me and am often humbled by this work.
