Starting and growing a family is hard. I specialize in supporting the unique mental health needs of hopeful, expectant, postpartum, and grieving women and men. I have over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist providing mental health treatment for those experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, birth trauma, and challenges in the transition to parenthood. I am also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor and offer supervision for perinatal clinicians based in Maryland and Washington D.C.

My approach to therapy is warm and collaborative, with a focus on combining traditional “talk therapy,” with learning practical, solution-based skills to empower clients and support positive change as quickly as possible.

It can be challenging (and exhausting) to find a therapist, especially when you are balancing so many competing needs. I strive to make the process as simple as possible and offer a free 15 minute consultation call. If we are not a good fit, for whatever reason, I am happy to provide high quality referrals.

I don't believe that there is a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. My experience allows me to customize the therapeutic format so that it can meet each client's unique needs.
