Hi! My name is Joanna. I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2013 and have worked in the mental health field with individuals, children, and families for over 20 years. I use a variety of approaches based on the individual and want to provide my clients with the best approach to meet their needs. I have experience working with all ages and backgrounds and am dedicated to helping others reach their full potential in life. Whether you are having difficulties managing your child’s behaviors, are dealing with anxiety or depression, or are struggling with a drastic change or transition in your life I want to help.
I always knew I wanted to work with children and families supporting them through difficult times. Early on in my career, I found myself working in foster care, social services, and community mental health agencies. Goal setting is a collaborative effort. I want to be there to guide my clients in identifying and reaching their therapeutic goals.
I loved being able to meet the clients and families where they were at and guide them through crisis situations and in being successful as a family and in their day-to-day lives. I have taken those assessment and crisis management skills into my private practice to help clients navigate various stages of their lives.
