When working with the LGBTQ+ community, I strive to provide affirmative therapy for individuals to explore their identities and navigate the unique challenges they may face. From exploring gender identity, navigating the coming out processes, or addressing discrimination and trauma, I am committed to providing culturally competent care.
I believe in a client-centered and mindfulness-based approach to therapy. I am dedicated to decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and seeking therapy. The main therapeutic interventions I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Play Therapy. I also have experience with crisis management and safety planning.
