Hello, my name is Joanna Pechal and I am a Licensed Social Worker. Therapy is an opportunity for clients to talk about their feelings in a nonjudgmental setting. My goal is to help my clients reframe their negative thoughts to better understand their feelings, thoughts and behaviors. I apply a variety of techniques such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Attachment Therapy and tailor them to meet my client's individual needs.
I am an experienced therapist with a demonstrated history with children, adolescents, family therapy, anxiety, RAD and trauma. I have over 15 years of experience in schools, Nonprofit Organizations, Crisis Intervention as well as Foster Care & Adoption.
