Hello! I am glad you are here. I help young adults process their past and create a meaningful future. Our meetings are a nonjudgmental space for you to resolve traumatic memories; process family experiences; explore your strengths & values; and learn helpful communication and coping skills. I have extra experience helping folks who grew up in high-control religious and/or homeschooling environments. Wanting to support others from this shared background is the reason I became a therapist.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and National Certified Counselor. I'm an EMDR-certified therapist and I have specialized training in EMDR for anxiety, complex PTSD, recent traumatic experiences, and spiritual abuse. I can also integrate EMDR with expressive and play-based therapies. I provide 1-hour sessions and 2-4 hour "Intensive" sessions.
My priority is for you to feel safe, welcome, and understood. Clients say that they can tell I truly care, and that our therapy process has helped them create positive changes in their lives.
