My name is JoAnn Tweeddale. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I utilize strengths-based, cognitive behavioral & solution focused therapy. I incorporate movement, art, music & hands-on activities while talking through stress & problem solving. I teach relaxation, communication, & conflict resolution tools. I also help my clients understand developmental tasks & ways to increase positive communication & self-esteem. My additional 11 years of experience as a teacher can help families navigate their child's difficulties in the education system.
I work with clients that realize they are ready to tackle some of the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are getting in their way. I work with children, adolescents (individual and family therapy), and adults who are facing uncomfortable thoughts, feelings and behaviors relating to home, school, or work stress.
