I have been working in the field of healing arts for two decades. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have experience working with individuals, couples, teens, and adolescents. My work is grounded in the knowing that with the safety and security of the therapeutic container, one finds the willingness to feel what is authentically present, which naturally brings healing and ease of living.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, co-occuring disorders, and relational trauma. I create a safe and non-pathologizing environment. I believe symptoms are a result of trauma. I view addiction (in its many forms) as symptomatic of trauma or adverse childhood experience, and hold the work in a container of connection rather than shame.
I work fluidly, and approach each clients as unique and therefore allow the clients unique Self to inform the way we work. I am personally oriented towards attachment based interventions, and am currently training in AEDP method of therapy. I am level 2 AEDP therapist. I am oriented towards healing from the get go.
