As an experienced psychotherapist, I know what a difference therapy makes in people's lives. I specialize in helping people feel better about themselves, their relationships, their lives. I enjoy helping clients overcome longstanding problems such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, confusion about what they want. Additionally, therapy can be enormously helpful to people coping with stressful situations such as divorce, loss, unemployment. Therapy is a time to work on what matters most. I strive to bring optimism, clarity and direction to that process.
My approach is insight-oriented and practical - we make sense of your concerns by understanding your current and previous experiences and relationships. I pay close attention to your struggles and strengths and strive to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. My style is often described as calm, empathic and interactive.
I also offer career coaching to help people resolve work-related questions. With my background as an organization consultant and business coach, I provide focus and new ways to think about a range of job or career issues, often using a hybrid of therapy and coaching.
