I am currently only offering EMDR Intensives. Intensive sessions are an effective and accelerated approach to healing, occurring for 3-5 hours per session, over the course of 1-5 days. This therapeutic approach is designed to help heal the suffering caused by traumatic life events and memories by using the body’s natural ability to heal. Research has shown EMDR Intensives to be effective in the reduction of painful memories, difficult emotions, intrusive thoughts, and disturbing images. It has also been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and somatic complaints.
I am certified in EMDR, an evidenced-based treatment designed to help alleviate symptoms caused by traumatic events. It's been shown to help reduce anxiety, depression, negative thought patterns, addictive behavior, and somatic complaints.
I'm a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, a SoulCollage Facilitator, and I am IFS informed. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a post-masters certificate in addiction counseling from Antioch University New England. I'm passionate about supporting and empowering those I work with in developing the skills to improve their lives.
